Nourishing Louisiana VISTA members will serve at various food distribution sites to
address these challenges by engaging in capacity building work.

Capacity building refers to tasks and activities that expand the scale, reach, efficiency, or effectiveness of programs and organizations.

Member activities can include volunteer recruitment, community engagement and outreach, partnership development and expansion, research and data evaluation, and program support, development and delivery.

VISTA members do not engage in direct services.
