The Value of our Volunteers

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Volunteers, known as Vincentians, are the heart of our organization, providing financial and spiritual support for those in need throughout our community.

During the month of April, the invaluable contributions of volunteers across the country are recognized.  We are blessed to have close to 500 individuals who selflessly give their time, energy, and skills to make a difference.

For 172 years, dedicated individuals have worked to continue the mission of Frederic Ozanam- advocating and serving the poor in the city of New Orleans and its surrounding areas. We celebrate our volunteers this month and throughout the year.

THANK YOU, VINCENTIANS, for helping us help others!

We have over 30 conferences in various church parishes in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany and Washington Parishes. If you're looking to serve your community as a volunteer, we may have a SVdP conference in your area!
